This is a good question. Have you ever asked yourself why someone would hire you? Have you ever looked at yourself through the eyes of a bride or groom? This is something that is so important. All too often when you look at yourself through the eyes of your client you realise that you actually don’t have your marketing nailed in the way you should.
One of the biggest things we teach our students at the International Academy of Wedding and Event Planning is about finding their niche. Its the old saying of you can’t be all things to all people. Just because you are in the business of weddings doesn’t mean you are selling to all brides. You need a target market and then you can sell to them properly. If luxury weddings is your market then you shouldn’t be writing blog posts on budget weddings. Do you get my drift?
In the video below I share some advice on how to narrow down your niche and ensure you are sending out the right marketing message to your perspective clients.
