Meet Wedding Academy Student And Wedding Pro Jessica Cameron

We are delighted to present to you one of our outstanding students from the Wedding Business Launchpad program, Jessica Cameron, who completed the Advanced Certificate in Wedding Planning, Design and Business & Certificate in Floral Design. Together with her best friend Danni, they founded the Fide Events, a Melbourne based Wedding Planning and Styling service. Our recent interview with Jessica provided us with an opportunity to learn about her latest ventures and gain insights into her specialized business services.

What is Fide Events and how it all started?

As Danni and I met in law school, Fide Events is based on the legal term ‘bona-fide’ as it is our intention to provide a genuine and faithful service to all of our clients whilst creating elegant, refined and classic events. We are passionate about our clients enjoying the lead up to their own events, which can often become quite stressful and time consuming. We believe that all of our clients should enjoy every second before, during and after their event and we are here to make the process seamless and delivered professionally.

What course did you study at The Wedding Academy?

I have completed the Advanced Certificate in Wedding Planning, Design and Business & Certificate in Floral Design.

What was your highlights studying with The Wedding Academy?

I am so passionate about weddings and overall industry that I just genuinely enjoyed all of the topics. I loved logging on at night to learn about floral arrangements or a wedding planning timeline! It is just so fun and I cannot wait to use my new skills and knowledge to grow our business.

What is your role now in weddings?

Wedding Planner and Stylist

How did you find your course assisted you in your career? 

I feel like I have good knowledge now of the industry and what is actually required to fulfil my client’s vision.

Any advice for aspiring wedding planners or stylists?
