By submitting an application to the Global Wedding & Event Awards 2025 (GWEA), you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility

1.1. The awards are open to individuals and businesses operating within the wedding and event industry.
1.2. Applicants must be 18 years or older.
1.3. Businesses must operate in an eligible region and be actively trading at the time of entry.
1.4. Previous winners and finalists are welcome to enter.

2. Application & Submission

2.1. To move from Nominee to Applicant, a completed submission form must be received by 30 April 2025.
2.2. Submissions must include accurate and truthful information about the applicant and their business.
2.3. Applicants must provide supporting materials such as images, testimonials, and business details as part of their entry.
2.4. Late or incomplete applications may be disqualified at the discretion of GWEA.
2.5. By submitting an application, you agree that all information provided may be used for judging, public voting, and promotional purposes.

3. Judging & Public Voting

3.1. The competition consists of two rounds: Public Voting (1-31 May 2025) and Judging Round (1-30 June 2025).
3.2. Public votes will contribute to the overall decision-making but will not be the sole determining factor in selecting winners.
3.3. The judging panel, consisting of industry professionals, will assess finalists based on criteria including innovation, service excellence, and industry impact.
3.4. The decision of the judges is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding results.

4. Use of Applicant Information & Marketing

4.1. By entering, applicants grant GWEA the right to use their business name, images, logos, and submitted content for promotional and marketing purposes.
4.2. Applicants may be featured on the GWEA website, social media, press releases, and other marketing materials.
4.3. The use of false or misleading information in an application may result in disqualification.

5. Prizes & Winner Announcements

5.1. Winners will be announced on 1 July 2025 via official GWEA channels.
5.2. Winners and finalists will receive official digital badges for marketing purposes.
5.3. Any additional prizes provided by sponsors are subject to their respective terms and conditions.
5.4. GWEA reserves the right to substitute prizes if necessary.

6. Disqualification & Conduct

6.1. GWEA reserves the right to disqualify any applicant found to be engaging in fraudulent activities, unfair voting practices, or any conduct deemed unethical.
6.2. Applicants must not attempt to manipulate or influence public voting results through non-genuine means, including bot voting or paid votes.
6.3. Any behavior deemed to bring the awards into disrepute may result in disqualification.

7. Data Privacy & Protection

7.1. Personal data collected during the application process will be used solely for the purpose of the competition and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
7.2. Applicants can request access to their personal data or opt out of marketing communications by contacting the GWEA team.

8. General Terms

8.1. GWEA reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the awards at any time due to unforeseen circumstances.
8.2. By entering, applicants agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions and any additional rules provided by GWEA.
8.3. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction].
