Creating a Portfolio

We work in a very visual industry and as such it is the images that tend to draw our clients in so a good portfolio is absolutely crucial, as it will do a the sales work for you if done in the right way. Your portfolio tells the story of you.

Your Portfolio is a sales tool and the link between you telling a customer that you are good at what you do and showing them. Your Portfolio should reflect what you stand for and what you have to offer a client and you should invest time in putting it together.

In this episode of Academy TV we break it down for you and give you some tips on what you can use to put your portfolio together. To go with this video we have also created an E Book called ‘How to Create a Killer Portfolio‘. To receive your copy of the E Book you will need to register here…

As part of our Diploma and Advanced Diploma Courses at the Academy we help you to build a portfolio as you work your way through your course. Your assignments are based on real life scenarios and although you are working with a fictitious client you are still creating all the documents you would need to create for a real wedding or event. The portfolio itself is submitted at the end of your course and critiqued by your tutor to give you feedback on the overall presentation, so it is ready for you to use with your clients.

This is a brand new initiative and we are the only training company to offer this service. We give you lots of tips and advice on how to create the portfolio including some fantastic software for creating digital portfolios. To view the video click the image below.
