Who Is Your Ideal Wedding Client

We talk a lot at the Academy about identifying who your ideal client is. What we don’t always go into detail about is whether or not you actually know your ideal client. What I mean by that is really knowing them. Knowing their inner most wants, desires, fears & needs. To really know your ideal client you need to step into their shoes & take a look at their day-to-day existence. Well this was the subject of our #WedBizHour chat last night.

Imagine you’re researching the lead character in a new book & you need to know everything about them. Where would you start? To really know your ideal client you need to start asking questions. What does your ideal client eat? What do they look like? What are their hobbies? Where do they hang out? Where does your ideal client live? What is their salary? What brands do they buy? Get inside your client’s head.

Once you have info on your ideal client its time to create a Client Persona – a fictional representation of your ideal client. Imagine you’re writing a dating profile on your ideal client. Summarise what matters to them & who they are. Consider starting a Pinterest Board for your ideal client. It will really help you to understand the essence of your client.

Figure out the person behind your ideal client & your marketing will be so much easier. They already want & need what you do so you can target your marketing accordingly.

For more details on this you can download the full #WedBizHour Transcript here…

Next week we are going to be talking about ideas that will help to boost your motivation so don’t forget to join us on Tuesday 26ht of June between 8-9pm GMT.
