Education is what we do here at the International Academy of Wedding and Event Planning. We train wedding planners, stylists and designers around the world teaching them how to hone their craft and launch a business or get a job in the special events industry. However, what they learn doesn’t stop once they complete their course. As anyone with a successful career will tell you education is a continual thing. You never stop learning.
It is wonderful to see how many educational opportunities are now popping up around Europe for those in the wedding industry. Traditionally these types of conferences have been hosted in the US with every little on offer elsewhere in the world. So I was very happy to find out about the Exotic Wedding Planning Conference that hosts educational experiences in India, Spain and Dubai, and it is my great pleasure to have been invited as one of the speakers at the forthcoming event in Barcelona.
I am in great company including some fellow Brits, including Bernadette Chapman from the UK Alliance of Wedding Planners, and Matthew Oliver a luxury wedding planner. Not only will I be speaking at the event I will also be filming a series of business interviews with the other 12 speakers that will be shared on our YouTube Channel at the end of November. These interviews will give you a unique look into the lives and businesses of these top wedding professionals, as they share their tips, knowledge and experience to help you learn and grow your business.
