This month we are sharing the story of recent Australian Academy of Wedding & Event Planning Graduate, Olguimar. Olguimar has an exciting story to tell, not the least because she has gained employment in the industry, since completing her Certificate in Event Design. If you are an Academy student, or thinking of becoming a student of any of our online campuses, here is some handy advice from Olguimar on how to succeed at online study:
“I think the most important thing while studying an online course is establishing a routine from the get go, as this will help you to keep on track with your modules and assignments. Be organized, make the most of your resources, stay focused on your goals and you’ll be successful.”
This is great advice for beyond your course and working in the industry too; the very act of establishing a good study habit, as an Independent Learner (online student), will help you to succeed when you need to take initiative as a Wedding/Event Planner or Designer, once out in the real world.
