Part of what we offer at the International Academy of Wedding and Event Planning is a flexible learning environment and this means our students can work from anywhere in the world. Whilst our course materials have been written for each geographic region that we offer our courses in Skype allows us to talk to our students no matter where they are based.
Just before Xmas I caught up with one of our Australian graduates, Nicole Stevens, to see what she had been upto since finishing her course and to find out more about the two year wedding planning internship she secured with Ivory & Beau in Savannah in the United States.
Nicole’s journey has been a big one and she has taken not one but two courses with the Academy, as well as undertaking a mentor program with our Director of Education, Christine Ligthart. Her story is inspiring and for anyone thinking about a new career in the wedding and event industry Nicole is a shining example of someone who took their study and turned it into a successful career.
