At the Academy we strive to have a personal connection with all of our Students and Graduates and things like Academy Live, our private Facebook group, really help with this. Sometimes though, we are lucky enough to develop an even deeper relationship with someone from our student body and that has been the case for me, with this month’s Student of the Month, Leisa.
Leisa has been my student for a while now and she is about to finish her course. You can meet Leisa and find out more about her journey by reading my interview with her here on the Australian Academy of Wedding & Event Planning website. But over time Leisa has also become a friend and colleague, through her work with me at the I Do Crew. Leisa’s professionalism, enthusiasm and fun attitude makes her a joy to work with and an inspiration to be around and I am looking forward to doing much more of that into the future. For now I am excited to celebrate her success as not only our Student of the Month, but as a business owner and working Wedding professional and I am so happy to have had the opportunity to be part of that journey with her.
