Being a wedding stylist is the dream creative career for so many of the people we speak to here at the Wedding Academy.
It combines creativity with the ability to take a client’s vision and turn it into a reality. But like most things there is more to it than that.
Leabaneng had already started her company and was already working as a wedding stylist when she enrolled on a course at the Wedding Academy.
She understood the value that knowledge and training would bring to her. She’d become a Pinterest addict and had no formal training so was almost stumbling around in the dark.
“I was spending a lot of time on Pinterest, not for inspiration, but rather copying other people’s work. All this changed once I enrolled. The course content, the mentors and the student community was on another level.”
We love hearing the stories of how our students have grown and flourished and today, nearly a year after she enrolled, Leabaneng tells us her story.
It’s been a joy to work with her and see her become a big part of our community and helping and supporting those around her.
