Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned and creative professional to assume the role of Head of Wedding Planning. This individual will play a pivotal role in curating, updating, and supporting our Certificate in Wedding Planning course (Planning Stream), ensuring its continuous success, and fostering the development of our students in the wedding planning industry.
Responsibilities:
Content Ownership:
- Oversee the development and maintenance of high-quality and current course content.
- Collaborate with industry experts to ensure the curriculum reflects the latest wedding planning trends and practices.
- Uphold the integrity of the course materials, ensuring they meet industry standards.
- Contribute annually to the International Wedding Trend report with a submission for your category.
Mentorship and Coaching:
- Conduct free one-off 30-minute mentor sessions for participants enrolled in the both the Certificate in Wedding Planning and Advanced Certificate in Wedding Planning, Styling and Business courses.
- Provide personalized paid coaching opportunities for those seeking additional guidance and support in wedding planning.
- Share valuable insights and tips based on extensive experience in the wedding planning domain.
Commission-Based Enrollment:
- Actively promote the Certificate in Wedding Planning and Advanced Certificate courses.
- Earn a generous 20% commission on new signups attributed to your efforts.
Engagement:
- Attend a monthly team meeting with The Wedding Academy via Zoom.
- Communicate via Slack/WhatsApp as required
- Participate in monthly video training sessions or Q&A sessions.
- Showcase your expertise and engage with the Wedding Academy Global Student Community on platforms like Wedding CEO Club and WeddingAcademyPro (Facebook Group).
- Contribute to the growth and development of the online learning community.
- Create and manage at least 6 contests related to your category each year to encourage student engagement.
Assignment Evaluation and Certification:
- Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on assignments submitted by course participants.
- Issue Certificates and Badges to successful graduates in wedding planning.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in wedding planning with a successful track record.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable presenting and demonstrating planning concepts in video sessions.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Compensation:
- Hourly casual base wage with set hours per month (Invoiced & time tracked).
- 20% commission on new course signups.
- Additional bonuses for outstanding performance.
