We are thrilled to announce the unveiling of the second International Wedding Trend Report published by the team here at the Academy of Wedding and Event Planning. As the leading training company for wedding planners, stylists and designers, and with campuses across the globe we are well-placed to compile a report that pulls together all the trends we are seeing in the wedding industry. To help us with this and to give the report a true international feel we have called upon 50 top wedding professionals to give their insight into what is trending in their corner of the world.
As part of the trend report for this year we have put together a styled shoot focusing on one of the top predicted themes for weddings in the forthcoming season. The images you will see throughout the report are loosely based on the festival style wedding with three popular music festivals used as the inspiration, Burning Man, Coachella and finally EDC for our evening look. So onto the report. We are seeing a clear focus for weddings in 2016 and that is one of oppulence. Budgets are back and consumers are spending. However, our couples are more educated now than ever before and know exactly what they want. There is a definite break from tradition as couple’s look to put their own stamp on things with a really edgy component to the decor.
