Easter has come and gone and we are now on the second issue of the Wedding Business Magazine, a free digital bi-monthly publication for those in the wedding and event industry focusing solely on the business side of the industry.
We have some fantastic articles to share with you and welcome three new contributors to our family in the form of Rhiannon Downie-Hurst of Bride Club Me, Dubai’s original wedding inspiration website, Tina Reading of Ultimate Wedding Magazine, the world’s ONLY fully interactive bridal publication and finally Emma Etheridge of Wedding Biz Bootcamp, a resource to help business owners take their business to the next level.
We get a behind-the-scenes look at the office and working life of Louise Beukes, the founder and editor-in-chief of leading wedding blog B.Loved and founder of Louise Beukes Styling, as she talks about how she stays inspired, runs her business and is now part of the exciting wedding collaboration, Aisle Society.
We were lucky enough to get an in-depth interview with Leatrice Eiseman, colour specialist and an internationally renowned colour guru recognised worldwide, especially as prime consultant to the Pantone Color Institute.
Anneli Marinovich, wedding and lifestyle photographer, gave us some fabulous insights into how she works with planners and designers to make sure the photos created as part of a styled shoot are exactly what the entire team envisaged, and Nova Reid from Nu Bride gave us her top tips on how to plan and produce a successful styled shoot.
Our ‘In Their Shoes’ feature this issue sees us chatting to Igal Sapir of 100candles.com as he talked us through the process of using styled shoots from a business perspective. Finally, our regular columns from Meghan Ely on everything PR, Heidi Thompson on promoting your business and Kathy Dalpra on the finer points of SEO for your website are all ones not to be missed.
You can get your copy right here by subscribing to our mailing list. It’s free and full of lots of gorgeous imagery, as the images used within this issue have been taken from our very own styled shoot we produced in partnership with a fantastic team of vendors based in the UAE. The story behind this shoot was to showcase the training and education provided by our new campus, the Arabian Wedding Academy, due to launch on Friday April 1st, 2016.
