Are you making any money in your wedding business?

Let me ask you a question. Are you making any money in your wedding business? Do you know how to price your services correctly?
So many times I hear wedding planners, floral designers, wedding stylists etc. talk about their pricing and they are simply plucking a figure out of the air with no method behind it. They look at what their competitors are charging, go a bit lower and use that as their pricing method.
This doesn’t work for several reasons but the most important one is that you don’t know how they came up with their own calculations and this is dangerous.
What if they did the same as you and simply went with a figure that sounded good? That doesn’t lead to a profitable and sustainable business.
I’ve said this before but I’m saying it again…

Your time is something you charge for. It isn’t free.

Your time is your product. Never under value your time as a wedding professional. It’s a commodity that should be charged out at a fair price.
If you don’t charge for your time all you have is an expensive hobby.
Our latest episode of Wedding Academy TV is now out and we share our top tips on how to run a profitable wedding business that actually makes money.
