Last year the Academy launched a monthly Pinterest Challenge called, #WedPin. Our very last #WedPin for the year was based around the announcement of the Pantone Colour of the Year; the pairing of Rose Quartz and Serenity. You can read more about the challenge in Announcing our #WedPin Winner for December.
Today I am sharing an entry from the first runner’s up in the challenge, Anna Lengyal. The key requirement of the challenge was that it feature the Pantone Colour of the Year and be for a wedding. Entrants were required to curate a Pinterest board, design an Inspiration and write a concept. Let’s hear from Anna about the concept behind her board;
Pastel is the new black. When modern – yet vintage – colours meet a classic and romantic fairytale, giving the softest touch to the wedding decor and representing the feeling of lightness – the feeling we have when we marry the love of our lives. Weightless and airy, light as air.
You can view Anna’s Pinterest board here and below is the Inspiration Board she created and which our judges loved.
