Lights, Camera, Action! That’s the theme for our October issue and as many of you will know I’m a HUGE video marketing fan and have embraced it for both the Academy and my own creative entrepreneur brand.
Without a doubt video has dramatically increased the bottom line of my business and given my name, work and personality so much more visibility that has proven invaluable both to the Academy and my own brand, kyliecarlson.co I’ve absolutely loved putting this issue together and don’t forget to check out my full article on Storytelling Video Marketing under WedInspire.
What’s in this Issue of the Wedding Business Magazine?
As always we have a jam packed issue, and as I said video marketing is the theme for this issue and by the time you’ve finished reading you’ll be ready to grab your phone and start filming.
If you’ve not heard of Zoom before I’d be surprised. We certainly use it here at the Academy to host all our Webinars and we were so excited to nab an interview with the CEO of Zoom himself, Eric S Yuan. He has some fantastic advice for wedding pros looking to start out with video marketing.
We are thrilled to share any interview with Amy Shey Jacobs, producer of the Today Show Wedding Series, Oprah Weddings, and the View Weddings. Not too shabby at all. She talks about how she went from TV Producer to owner of her own business, Chandelier Events.
I loved doing this interview with Sunny Lenarduzzi, YouTube Guru, as she has been personally mentoring me with the Academy YouTube Channel as well as my own Personal Channel. Sunny gives you the lowdown on exactly how to manipulate YouTube for your business with a great FREE cheatsheet to download.

Of course as video marketing is one of my passions, (Kylie Carlson), don’t forget to check out my article on Storytelling Marketing with Video, it’s packed full of tips and help to get you started.
