An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with the CEO of the International Academy of Wedding and Event Planning as part of a yearlong business internship. This is a paid fulltime position with flexible hours. Kylie is offering the chance for one lucky person to work with her remotely on a day-to-day basis.
Although you do not need to be geographically close you will be expected to spend one day a month in the office with Kylie in East Yorkshire, so ideally we are looking for someone who lives in the UK or is able to be in the UK when required. This is a home based virtual opportunity, and as the hours are flexible would suit someone starting out in their own business.
If you have ever wanted to learn how to run a successful business, create marketing plans, put together social media strategies, organise events including styled shoots, workshops, studio days and more then you’re in luck. You will be shown how to run a multi-national brand and learn from someone who started with nothing more than an idea.
Daily tasks will include posting on our social media accounts and following what is happening in the wedding and event world, conducting research, managing admin tasks relating to the Wedding Business Magazine, Trend Report, Academy Blog and Studio days. You will be shown how to use our online design tools and putting together marketing collateral. You will liaise with the Academy Advisory Board members and be introduced to many of the movers and shakers in the industry, either via email or face-to-face depending on the job at hand.
You will plan, manage and coordinate all Academy events including workshops, styled shoots, meet and greets and studio days. You will also be included in strategy meetings and partnership development.
This opportunity gives the successful candidate the ability to further develop their existing skills, as they will be working very closely with Kylie and gain invaluable experience and knowledge from her.
