The 2020 Wedding Course Curriculum

Wedding Course Curriculum for 2020 is being announced.
It’s hard to believe that as we start not only a new year, but a new decade too, the Wedding Academy is coming into its 13th year as a training provider for the wedding industry.
If someone had told me 13 years ago about the journey I’d go on I’d never have believed them.
It’s been full of twists and turns, ups and downs, massive highs and some pretty big lows too.
I’ll tell you right now that the highs have been amazing, exhilarating and almost drug induced.
It’s like nothing you’ve ever experienced. When things go right, and I mean really right, there’s nothing like it.
There’s a feeling of power and absolute belief in yourself and your own abilities that nobody, and I mean nobody, can take away from you.
You’re on top of the world and nothing can stop you.
But with those highs come the lows. And those lows see you at your worst. They see you at that point where you feel like you can’t go on.
You’re so low it feels like you can’t go any lower.
It’s worse than being in a relationship because there’s nobody you can take it out on other than yourself.
That’s the reality of being in business.
But it’s the part that nobody ever talks about.
Running a business, any type of business, is an emotional rollercoaster. It requires you to make decisions, hard ones at that.
And sometimes you don’t know what to do.
You don’t have all the answers.
You have ideas but are they the right ones?
In all honesty, who knows.
Until you try something you can’t actually answer that question.
Over the last 12 years I’ve tried many ideas. Some have failed, some have been amazingly successful, and others have been just average.
Have any of those failures stopped me from trying again? Of course not. That’s what makes me who I am and the Wedding Academy what it is today.
Making mistakes is part of growing a successful business. It’s what you do with those mistakes that counts.
So why am I telling you this?
Because in 2019 I wanted to try something new for the Wedding Academy. I wanted to try something we’d never done before.
I wanted to break away from the traditional educational format we’d always operated under and try something different.
I knew that out there in the universe were people who really wanted to start a wedding business but didn’t know where to start.
They didn’t want a qualification like the ones we offered they simply wanted to be shown how. Given a blueprint they could use and implement to start their new business.
They wanted the community, support and mentorship I knew we could give them.
So that’s what we did.
We left our traditional format behind and launched a brand new program for people looking to start a wedding planning business.
And what a fantastic experience it was.
It was a gamble. I didn’t know if it would work or not.
I had no idea, but I was willing to take that risk because I believed in what I was doing.
The result?
We took over 200 amazing new Wedding CEOS through our Wedding Business Launchpad Course in 2019 and I loved it.
And now we’re in 2020 I’ve realised something. We don’t need to offer one or the other, we can actually offer both.
We can continue to offer the Wedding Business Launchpad a couple of times a year, but we can also return to our roots and offer our certification courses too.
It dawned on me that at the Wedding Academy we have two audiences. Those that want to launch a business and those that want to dip their toe in the water and try something new.
That might mean investing in a program like the Launchpad or it might mean taking a more formal style of qualification.
Whichever it is there’s one thing I’m sure of, we can provide the solution, just as we’ve been doing for 12 years now. (About to be 13 years)
There’s room for both of these options so that’s exactly what we’re going to be giving you.
Twice a year we’ll be running our Wedding Business Launchpad course that combines 8 weeks of live training with our comprehensive blueprint for launching a wedding business.
Plus, ongoing we’ll be bringing you our wedding certification courses for 2020.
Yes, our certificate courses are back by popular demand, albeit with a little bit of New Year sparkle, and I can’t wait to share them with you.
I hope you’re ready because in a few short days we’ll be announcing the new Wedding Course Curriculum for 2020 and I’m pretty sure you’re going to love it.
Stay tuned for more details because if starting a new career as a wedding planner is one of your goals for 2020 then you’re right where you need to be.
Exciting things are coming your way.
