Jalyssa joined the Academy back in August of 2019. With a background in fashion we knew she’d have an eye for aesthetics.
We’ve had quite a few students from the fashion industry turn their creativity to their advantage by launching a business in the wedding industry. And that’s just what Jalyssa has done.

I launched with a dream and a plan.
Her business Lovely Soiree Weddings & Events launched in December 2019.
Juggling being a Mom to her 9 month old son, studying and launching her new business certainly hasn’t been easy. However, when Jalyssa got made redundant during the Corona Virus pandemic she used this as an opportunity.
Rather than letting things get her down Jalyssa has thrown herself full steam ahead into her business and is now seeing the rewards.
Using the community in our private student Facebook Group she’s used the help of other students to really nail her niche.
With the support of her family and the Wedding Academy she’s really spent time finding her business groove. She’s put her course to good use and really used it to help her get very clear on who her ideal client is and the people she serves.
She’s learnt the lesson we love to teach at the Wedding Academy – you can’t sell to everyone.
Everyone is not you client.
