February’s WedPin Winner

This could be the favourite part of the month for me!  This is the time of the month when I get to announce the winner of #WedPin.  If you are not familiar with #WedPin visit the blog to find out more about how to join our Pinterest challenge each month. The theme for WedPin this month was ‘Swept Away’ and I have been really inspired by the entries we received.  Everyone has taken on the challenge of developing a creative concept with our theme in mind and it was quite hard to pick a winner.  I know I always say that, but the standard gets higher and higher with each month. Now onto our winner.

A big Wedding Academy Live conratulations goes to, Monica Naclerio from Italy.  Monica is studying our Advanced Diploma in Special Event Planning and Design, via our UK Campus.  This is Monica’s first time participating in WedPin and she blew me away with her creative concept and stunning inspiration board.  You can view Monica’s Pinterest board here and below is her concept for a ‘Swept Away’ wedding.  We will be back next week with a new theme for our March edition of WedPin. Chagall Inspiration Board “Newlyweds on the Eiffel Tower” by Marc Chagall is a very impactful painting, where the two lovers seem to be swept away – literally – by a wind of love. The palette consists of three fresh and spring tonalities: a bright yellow, a pastel blue and a vivid red, used sparingly. Everything has the flavour of France, as imposed by the presence, in the artwork, of the famous French monument.  Delicate, romantic, carefree, youth.
