Working in weddings and events is not glamorous. It is hard work, without a doubt and I don’t want today’s Student of the Month story to mis-lead you. But let’s be honest, it can also be a pretty fabulous job, which gives you opportunities you have only ever dreamed of; like Planning Destination Weddings in the South of France and Balearic Islands, during the European Summer and with one of the region’s most experienced professionals, sharing her wisdom with you along the way. Yes that is the story of our Australian Student of the Month for, Ashlee. Whilst we suffer through the winter months, she is on the other side of the world, learning her craft as an Intern.
But let’s be very clear, Ashlee deserves her opportunity. She wasn’t lucky, or in the right place at the right time, she put herself there with hard work. You can read her story on the Australian Campus website here.
Ashlee is a Graduate of our Certificate in Wedding Planning and along with our Diploma in Wedding Planning Styling and Design and Certificate in Destination Wedding Planning, it is one of the courses we recommend for anyone with a passion for working in Weddings. Of her studies and the Internship she is now doing, Ashlee had this to say;
