Every 3 months the Academy team head into the studio to film new course material. One of the things we are passionate about is ensuring that everything we produce for our courses is current, reflecting the latest trends and showcasing the practical side of the events industry.
We always use a different set up, theme and style for each shoot and part of the fun is turning a blank studio canvas into a wedding and event classroom. I love going into the studio as each experience is different and I get to work with some amazingly talented people who help me to pull each look together and collaborate with me on the content.
As you can see from the image above we also take our students on set to give them a different sort of work experience. We run to a very tight deadline in a small space and have to create several different looks using limited resources, so to say it is a challenge would be an understatement.
For this studio session we wanted to try something different and give our readers a behind the scenes look at what happens in the studio by shooting one of our lessons live on Facebook. The lesson in question was part of a series of videos we were producing on tablescaping and was led by the talented event designer, Pamella Dunn of Pamella Dunn Events. Our student, Stacey Probyn, assisted Pamella as she demonstrated the basics of tablescape design.
We hope you enjoy our pop-up classroom and don’t forget we offer courses through our E Learning courses in the following countries and regions:
