Hello! We have had another big month here at the Academy, not least of all because we hosted our second, Wedgram challenge. Once again we had some fantastic entries and it was wonderful to see so many new participants, alongside those who returned for another round.
In case you have missed the ‘hype’, here is a rundown on exactly what Wedgram is and who will benefit from it;
#Wedgram gives participants experience in styling, photography for Instagram and using social media as a professional. In addition to being able to practice those skills, there is the benefit of honing your craft each time you enter and that is why you will get so much more out of this challenge, if you do return month after month. So please keep an eye on your inboxes as we will soon announce, next month’s theme and if you haven’t signed up, you can do so here.
Now to our winners. Our judge this month is the Academy’s very own, Lisa Macale, of Willow Tree Creative. Lisa is an Academy Graduate and Tutor and her Styled Shoots and Weddings are regularly featured by your favourite magazines and blogs. So let’s here from Lisa about our Winner.
Wedgram Winner – Mya Lloyd
Lisa Macale: “Mya’s entry is a lovely mix of textures and autumn/fall tones, while combining different fruits and foliage, that work beautifully together. The image has a beautiful and rustic style. Congratulations @emmddiva on being this month’s #Wedgram winner” – Lisa Macale

Joining Mya on the winner’s podium is Martha Tobyn (@marthatobyn) who had this to say of the experience of competing in Wedgram;

And our second runner’s up is Sofia Marsano (@sofiamarsano) who created a delightful vignette to express the theme of ‘fruits and foliage’.
