This year we took we took the International Wedding Trend Report to the next level, featuring more trend inspired styled shoots than ever before. The stunning and vibrant images across pages 9-25 of the report were taken from the Boho Luxe themed shoot, art directed and styled by one of our UK Academy alumni, Krysta Smith of For the Love of Weddings. The style is luxurious and intimate and not too formal, and everything from the DIY dreamcatcher chair decor to the striking use of feathers in the headdress and table runner, enforces that Boho Luxe vibe.
The venue for this shoot was the perfect backdrop with its gorgeous ornate wallpapers and murals. The floral design complimented the space beautifully, full of bright cascading blooms and unstructured centrepieces packed with exotic pink and green tones. This shoot had the perfect imagery for complimenting the report interviews we did with the likes of Jes Gordon, where we talked about the importance of engaging and stimulating the five senses in wedding design. There are so many dimensions to this shoot; the variety in textures of the silk runner, natural foliage, structured paper flowers, and vintage glassware make you want to touch everything. The colours are bold and rich and the candlelight adds a warm glow. And the amazing four tiered cake and gold dipped macarons on the pretty mismatched crockery look simply delicious.
