We are very excited to be launching our first blended learning course this May through the UK Academy of wedding & Event Planning. As part of The Diploma in Floral & Event Styling our students will spend two days at our London styling studio with expert Academy Tutor Dee McMeeking. Dee is a wedding stylist, wedding planner & floral designer operating under her business Dee McMeeking Wedding Styling.

Its All About the Details

Dee is a self proclaimed perfectionist and with a natural eye for details and what will just “work” together. Organisation and making sure that things look right are her guilty pleasure, aptitudes that lend them selves perfectly to Wedding Planning & Styling. “What is most important to me in life” says Dee, “is being true to yourself and being happy. And I believe your wedding should TOTALLY reflect this ethos.”

Dee’s Journey

Following an extensive education in humanities that saw her graduate at PHD level, Dee went on to a 7 year career in teaching. After planning her own wedding Dee found her passion for weddings, enrolled with the Academy and graduated as an accredited Wedding Planner and Event Designer/Stylist. Then in 2011 she launched her Warwickshire based wedding planning & styling business Dedicated2Detail Wedding Design, going on to work on over 200 events. In 2015 Dee focussed her business to be a more personalised wedding styling service and added floral styling to her services, putting her name to the business.

Dee has won numerous wedding industry awards and has written extensively on wedding planning & styling, including being the author of 3 eBooks available on the Amazon Kindle Store, Dee has written extensively on wedding planning & styling.
