Congratulations to the Winners of Our Wedding Academy Instagram Challenge!

Earlier this month we set our Academy community the fun challenge of designing a wedding inspiration board inspired by the colours Pantone have predicted will be trending for Spring Summer 2019.
Everyone, from Academy students and graduates to wedding professionals and wedding design newbies took on the challenge and we received well over 300 entries! There were so many beautiful design boards so it was such a tough job for Academy CEO Kylie to whittle them down to thee finalists per colour.
The task of picking an overall challenge winner and a winning board for each of the twelve colours fell to our star judge Zainab Alsalih, Founder of Carousel Events, a luxury wedding and event planning agency based in Dubai. Zainab is an amazing design talent and her beautiful work is industry renowned. Each of her designs tells a story and she shares snapshots of this inspiring work with her 100k Instagram followers.
I expect you are dying to know who Zainab picked as the winners and it gives me great pleasure to share the 2019 #WedAcademyChallenge winning designers and their stunning inspiration boards…

Why Zainab Loves it:
“The “mango mojito” board stood out amongst a collection of amazing boards. What made it special for me is how the primary colour of “mango mojito” was paired with an accent colour to accentuate its richness, and to make it work so well in the context of a wedding theme design. It takes great creativity and a real understanding of colours to pair such different tones together, making both of them look better, but truly elevating and complimenting the primary colour.”
