Are you having an amazing start to the year? I hope so and I hope you are feeling inspired too, because today we are kicking off Wedgram, our Instagram challenge for Wedding Lovers. We launched this last year and our community of followers loved it and we are excited to dive back in again this year.

Once you are clear on what Wedgram is, its time to play and this month your theme is…
My Wedding Obsession
What does that mean? Well its entirely up to you. We want you to brainstorm the idea and then create a flatlay or vignette that expresses your interpretation of the theme. You may even find it helpful to curate a Pinterest board first. Your vision could be based around your office, a tablescape or anything really. I don’t want to give you too much direction as we want you to make the theme your own.
I know this theme is a little challenging and very broad and it’s going to give your creative brain a workout, but tackling it is also going to help you hone your design skills and that is exactly why you should be playing Wedgram with us each month. Also keep in mind that you can’t do this incorrectly. We are excited to see how differently each of you approaches the theme and we love seeing how your skills grow each time you play. So don’t second guess your abilities, just dive in and have a go!

Getting Started
If you don’t have an Instagram account already, it is time to set one up. You can do that here. Instagram has lots of information to help you understand how to use Instagram in their Help Centre, including this guide to setting up your Instagram account. When you subscribed to this challenge we also sent you a link to a very hand Ebook created for us by Wedding Photographer, Kylie Maree of Just for Love Photography. If you didn’t receive your Ebook, email me for a copy.

Guidelines
1. You must add #Wedgram into the description of your image when you upload it to Instagram (this enables us to find it)
2. Tag @weddingacademylive in your description too
3. You can upload your image at any time before 17 February, 2017
4. Winner/s will be announced within one week of the challenge closing
5. Some of our team may participate in Wedgram, but cannot be chosen as the winner
6. The winning entry will be featured on Instagram and our blog with a short interview with the designer
7. Your entry must be your own work.
